Welcome to the STAI Imam Syafi’i Scholarship Portal. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at https://scholarship.stai-imamsyafii.ac.id (the “Service”), managed by STAI Imam Syafi’i (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using the Service.

1. Use of the Service

1.1 Eligibility

The Service is provided primarily for the benefit of prospective and current students of STAI Imam Syafi’i. While anyone may browse general information, certain application features require valid institutional credentials or successful registration as an applicant.

1.2 Academic Integrity

By using this Service, you commit to the highest standards of academic honesty. Any scholarship application found to contain plagiarized essays, forged transcripts, or fraudulent claims of financial need will result in immediate disqualification and potential institutional disciplinary action.

2. Scholarship Applications and Awards

2.1 No Guarantee of Funding

The information provided on the Scholarship Portal, including eligibility matching tools, does not constitute a guarantee of an award. All scholarships are subject to fund availability, specific donor criteria, and the final decision of the Scholarship Committee.

2.2 Application Deadlines

It is the user’s sole responsibility to monitor and meet application deadlines. We are not responsible for any technical delays, server outages, or document upload failures that occur near a deadline.

2.3 Third-Party Scholarships

The Service may list scholarships from external foundations or Zakat organizations. STAI Imam Syafi’i does not control the selection process or disbursement policies of these external entities.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Accuracy of Information

You represent that all information provided in your scholarship profile—including GPA, Tahfidz (memorization) progress, and family income data—is accurate and current. You agree to notify the Financial Aid office immediately if your eligibility status changes.

3.2 Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use the Service to solicit funds for non-educational purposes.

  • Submit multiple applications for the same award using different identities.

  • Use automated scripts to scrape scholarship data or “spam” the application portal.

4. Intellectual Property

All proprietary content, including the “Scholarship Readiness” guides, eligibility algorithms, and portal design, are the intellectual property of STAI Imam Syafi’i. You may download materials for personal, non-commercial use only.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indonesian law, STAI Imam Syafi’i shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential damages arising from a rejected scholarship application.

  • Decisions made by third-party donors listed on the portal.

  • The loss of any data or documents submitted through the application portal due to technical errors.

6. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Scholarship Portal for any breach of these Terms, including but not limited to, the submission of fraudulent documents or the misuse of awarded funds.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes related to the use of the portal or scholarship selection processes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Cianjur, West Java, or resolved through the institution’s internal grievance procedures.

8. Updates to These Terms

We may modify these Terms to reflect changes in educational regulations or portal features. We will notify users of significant changes via the portal dashboard. Your continued use of the Service signifies your agreement to the updated Terms.
